Dear Valued d3h Hotels Guests,

In these uncertain times, we want to let you know what we are doing here at d3h Hotels to support you and your travel plans. As the situation around novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, so does our response. Please read the information below frequently for new updates on what we're doing to ensure your travel safety.

We have activated our Head Office response teams to provide around-the-clock assistance to our hotels and are prepared to act swiftly should we be alerted to a case of coronavirus at one of our properties.

At d3h Hotels, we believe it is in challenging times like these that the power of hospitality is needed most of all. Whether you are traveling now or in the future, our team members are ready to welcome you with the Authentic Prairie Hospitality you’ve come to expect at d3h Hotels.

Sincerely,

As per the recommendations of all authorities, non-essential travel is not recommended. However, we recognize that travel may be necessary so we have taken the following steps to provide safe and secure Essential Travel Rooms & Areas throughout d3h hotels, which include taking the following precautionary measures:

  • All non-essential items have been removed from rooms to avoid additional touch points which could lead to cross-contamination. These items include marketing materials, extra amenities, etc.
  • All glassware, stemware and porcelain has been removed and is available by contacting the Front Desk.
  • Room assignments are as remote as possible from other occupied rooms.
  • Free Grab & Go breakfast with sealed items is being provided at the Front Desk.
  • All non-essential areas of the hotels are now closed. This includes the business center, fitness center and pool areas.
  • All seating in public areas has been removed to allow for social distancing.
  • The meeting rooms are all closed to outside visitors. We suggest re-booking for a later date to avoid disappointment.
your travel safety

Updated
March 24, 2020
As it has always been, the safety and well-being of our guests and team members remains our highest priority. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken additional measures developed in tandem with provincial and local public health authorities to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous:

  • Our hotel teams are receiving ongoing briefings and enhanced operating protocols.
  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas (including lobbies, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms, etc.) and have continued the use of hospital-grade disinfectant.
  • We will continue to adjust food and beverage service in accordance with current food safety recommendations.
  • We are asking guests to self-identify if they have been in contact with someone who is/may be infected and/or those who have travelled internationally in the last 4 weeks.
  • We have been following guidelines of definitions for self-isolation vs self-monitoring. At this time, we are accepting guests who are self-monitoring. In an effort to flatten the curve and for the continued safety and security of our remaining guests, we are not accepting guests who have been directed to self-isolate. In tandem with our governing bodies, we recommend if you are required to self-isolate, please travel directly home and remain home for 14 days.
  • We ask that you provide at least 2 meters of distance from guests or staff to prevent the spread of infection.
